About CAIO
The Canada Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (CAIO) is a non-profit organization and the official organizer of Canada’s national AI competition for youth. It is the only organization in Canada authorized by the International AI Olympiad (IAIO, supported by UNESCO) to select members of the Canadian national team.
Open to secondary school and college students across the country, CAIO identifies and prepares the most promising young minds to represent Canada on the global AI stage.
Our Mission
In a time when AI is transforming every part of our lives, we believe the next generation must not be left behind. CAIO is here to bridge the gap, giving high school students across Canada the opportunity to explore, learn, and lead in AI, beyond what classrooms can offer. By building a national community rooted in education, innovation, and ethics, we aim to open doors to a future where every student can find their voice in the age of AI.
